Shooting in an alley in San Francisco’s Mission District leaves one dead

One person was killed in a shooting in an alley in San Francisco’s Mission District on Saturday, San Francisco police said.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 4 a.m. on Wiese Street, an alley between 15th and 16th streets. The scene is near Mission Street and the 16th Street BART stop.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
