No injuries in Montpelier shooting

There are no reports of injuries related to the shooting incident in Montpelier overnight.

According to police, the incident occurred shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Barre Street and Monsignor Crosby Avenue. Officers were already nearby and heard several shots. At least one of the bullets hit a house.


Barre Town Police and Vermont Fish & Wildlife canine units assisted investigators in searching the area. No arrests were made.
