Woman found dead in Brooklyn apartment: police

BOROUGH PARK, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A woman was found dead in a Brooklyn apartment building Saturday, police said.

According to the NYPD, police responded to a residence on Minna Street in the Borough Park neighborhood after receiving a 911 call around 5 a.m.

A 27-year-old woman was found with injuries to her body and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The woman’s cause of death is being determined by the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office; the investigation is ongoing.

The identity of the woman was not disclosed.

The police did not have any further information about the incident.
