Police are asking for help in identifying a man wanted for a harassment incident on board a BX12 bus

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the individual pictured in this photo, who they say is wanted in connection with a groping incident that occurred on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 12:20 p.m. aboard bus BX12 somewhere within the 52nd Precinct, which includes parts or all of Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights.

The NYPD is asking the public for help in identifying and locating the person in the attached photo, who they say is wanted in connection with a taunting incident aboard a moving MTA bus in the 52nd Precinct, which includes part or all of Bedford Park, Fordham, Kingsbridge, Norwood, Bronx Park, and University Heights.

Police said that on Friday, June 14, at approximately 12:20 p.m., a 27-year-old woman was on the BX12 bus when an unknown person approached her and grabbed her buttocks. They said the person was last seen exiting the bus at the corner of Fordham Road and Grand Concourse in Fordham Manor and fleeing on foot in an unknown direction. “The victim was not injured in this incident,” a police spokesperson said.

They said the person they are looking for is male, dark-skinned, approximately 5’9″ tall with a slim build. They said he was last seen wearing an adjustable black baseball cap, black t-shirt and black pants and was carrying a black fanny pack.
