ABC-7 First Alert: Scorching temperatures continue

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) – Our ABC-7 Initial Warning remains in effect for HOT conditions! We expect temperatures to reach 106 degrees today and tomorrow. Temperatures will remain around 105 to 106 degrees through Tuesday.

The heat advisory for the Rio Grande Valley in El Paso and Hudspeth counties has expired and has been replaced by a heat warning that will remain in effect through Tuesday morning. The heat advisory for southern New Mexico has expired. A heat advisory is in effect for Las Cruces through Monday morning.

But… now it’s getting cooler, with temperatures dropping to over 35 degrees as the chance of rain increases.
