1 dead after car crash in Blanchard

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, one person was killed in an accident in Blanchard on Friday afternoon.

OHP confirmed that 29-year-old Raquel Anderson was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident.

OHP said the crash occurred around 1:16 p.m. and involved two other vehicles near North Council Avenue and Windmill Avenue.

OHP confirmed that Anderson was the driver and had a juvenile passenger who was treated and released at a local hospital.

The second driver involved was not injured, according to OHP, and the third driver was treated and released from a local hospital.

The cause of the crash is currently being investigated, OHP said.
