Firefighters battle fires near Bar’am and Yiron after rocket attacks

The Fire and Rescue Authority reported Saturday morning that four firefighting teams were battling a fire in an open area between Bar’am and Yiron.

According to reports, Yiron was in danger at the time. “Since early (Friday) afternoon, firefighters have been working to extinguish several rocket-caused fires near Bar’am,” the statement said. “Further updates will be provided as needed.”
