Motorcyclist in critical condition after accident on I-215, lanes closed

WEST VALLEY CITY (ABC4) — A motorcyclist was hospitalized and is in critical condition after crashing on the westbound beltway of I-215 southbound at approximately 3500 South.

Cpl. Luis Sliva of the Utah Highway Patrol said the accident occurred around 8:15 p.m. and the two left lanes were closed. The lanes are expected to remain closed for “at least” another hour.

No other injuries were reported and no other vehicles were involved, Silva said.
