Man injured in hang gliding accident in Draper

DRAPER – One person was injured while hang gliding in Draper on Friday.

A man was hang gliding at Point of the Mountain Friday afternoon when he lost altitude and crashed into the side of a hill on the east side of the gravel pit, Draper police said.

The man was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, police said. Further details about the man’s loss of altitude were not immediately available.
