1 dead after shooting near Walter St, Coal Ave: APD

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – Authorities are investigating a shooting in Albuquerque Friday that left someone dead, they reported.

The Albuquerque Police Department (APD) announced around 3 p.m. that there were reports that a man had been shot near Walter Street and Coal Ave SE. One victim was found and taken to a hospital, but died en route.

The APD homicide squad is investigating the case.
