1 dead after three-vehicle crash in Visalia | YourCentralValley.com

VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – One person is dead after a three-vehicle crash in Visalia Friday afternoon, Visalia police said.

Visalia officers and firefighters responded to a three-vehicle crash in the area of ​​Akers Street and Noble Avenue at 12:20 p.m. Friday.


Officials said firefighters used rescue shears to free one of the drivers. He is expected to be OK. However, another driver involved in the accident died of his injuries at the scene.

A photo from the scene shows that the accident occurred in the underpass of Highway 198. An SUV appeared to have collided with the wall of the underpass.
