The video was received from Audrey Washington from Channel 2 is from June 10, 2024.

The two struggled before Officer Scott-Sinclair shocked Bowles with a taser, assisted by another officer.

Bowles was eventually handcuffed and charged with obstruction of justice.

“I was really scared for my life out there,” Bowles said.

On Friday, Bowles expressed her opinion for the first time in the presence of the NAACP and leading representatives of the city of Manchester.

“How did you feel that day?” asked Washington Bowles.

“Hurt. Hurt,” Bowles said.

A murder charge was brought against Scott-Sinclair, but the charge was later dropped.

Washington attempted to reach Scott-Sinclair through the police chief for comment, but neither was available for comment Friday.

The city manager and mayor of Manchester commented on the case.

“The case is under investigation and an internal review is underway,” said Manchester City manager Mark Pulliam.

“There has to be a change,” Mayor Mark Trimble told Washington.

“(I have) a million people behind me who will stand up for me, do the right thing and get me justice,” Bowles told his supporters.

The case remains under investigation.
