9-year-old hit and killed in O’Fallon, Missouri

O’Fallon Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance video of the incident or who may have witnessed it to contact them with information.

O’FALLON, Missouri – A 9-year-old boy was hit and killed in a car Friday morning in O’Fallon, Missouri.

The O’Fallon Police Department said officers were called to the intersection of Harmony Lane and Vine Street around 11:45 a.m. because a child had been struck by a car.

Officers found the child on the street and emergency services took him to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries, police said.

Police said the 19-year-old driver from St. Louis County is still on scene and cooperating with the investigation.

O’Fallon Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance video of the incident or who may have witnessed it to contact them with information.
