2 people arrested during break-in into an apartment: Mobile police

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) – Two Mobile men were arrested after officers observed them breaking into a residence.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers arrested 40-year-old Antwaun Marquis Coleman and 30-year-old Darius Jamal Goldsmith on Thursday, June 13.

The arrests came after officers responded to a burglary in the 1500 block of Van Lee Circle at approximately 10:13 a.m. on June 13.

LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they said they observed “two male subjects breaking into a residential residence.”

The two suspects, identified as Coleman and Goldsmith, were arrested and taken to Metro Jail, according to police.

Coleman was charged with possession of burglary tools, third-degree burglary and attempted escape. Goldsmith was charged with third-degree burglary and attempted escape, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office jail log.
