1 dead after early morning accident in Cimarron County

CIMARRON COUNTY, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol have released information about a crash Friday morning that left a woman dead.

According to OHP officials, two vehicles were involved. However, OHP said the accident is still under investigation and did not release any details about the nature of the accident.


OHP confirmed in a news release that a 25-year-old female passenger in vehicle two was taken to Cimarron Memorial Hospital in Boise City, Oklahoma, and later pronounced dead. The driver, a 24-year-old man, and the two other passengers, including a 1-year-old and a 7-week-old boy, were flown to an Amarillo-area hospital.

OHP confirmed that the 24-year-old man was admitted in stable condition and both children were uninjured.

OHP also reported that the condition of the driver of Vehicle 1 is still unknown.
