On April 19, 2024, BC Libraries Cooperative experienced a cybersecurity incident. The Camosun Library uses Sitka’s Evergreen Integrated Library System, hosted by the BC Libraries Cooperative. It was determined that this was a minor breach that did not pose a serious threat to privacy. The most likely risk of this incident is that the retrieved emails could be used to generate spam or phishing messages. If you receive a message that appears to be from the Library asking for personal information, contact us at [email protected].
