Stockton teen arrested as suspect in Fresno carjacking

(FOX40.COM) – A Stockton teenager was arrested Monday after he was found driving a car that was reported stolen by the Fresno Police Department, according to Rio Vista police.

At 4 p.m., license plate reader cameras identified the 2015 Honda Accord that had been reported stolen in Fresno.

Officers tracked the vehicle and found it gassing up at a Chevron gas station. The suspected car thief was stopped at the gas station.

It was also discovered that the 17-year-old was wanted by the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office for burglary.

He was arrested and booked into the Solano County Juvenile Detention Center.
