Justice Department investigation into Phoenix Police Department finds ‘wide-ranging deficiencies’

The US Department of Justice has released the results of a comprehensive investigation into the Phoenix police force. The report reveals a number of “profound failures” by the police – from discrimination against blacks, Hispanics and Native Americans to mistreatment of the homeless.
