Chicago police close streets near Streeterville Whole Foods – NBC Chicago

Some streets in downtown Chicago were closed and a heavy police presence was reported outside a Whole Foods Market near Grand Avenue and Fairbanks Street Friday morning.

Photos and videos from the scene show several police cars and yellow crime scene tape blocking off the busy intersection near the Whole Foods store in Streeterville, 255 E. Grand Avenue.

An ambulance was also seen near the building.

Chicago police did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s request for information.
