Two motorcyclists involved in an incident of road rage

On Tuesday evening, June 11, Ogle County officials received a complaint of a possible assault that occurred in the 1000 block of South Lowell Park Road.

The alleged assault was the result of an incident of driving aggression. Shortly before 8:00 p.m., officers spotted two motorcycles involved in the incident near the intersection of Fourth St and Washington St in Oregon.

A traffic stop was initiated and after further investigation, the driver of one of the motorcycles, 42-year-old Terry Cushing of Rock Falls, was arrested for driving with a suspended license. Cushing was also charged with a driver’s license classification violation.

The driver of the other motorcycle, 42-year-old Joshua Kobbeman of Tampico, was charged with false license plate reporting. Cushing was released on a summons at the scene of the accident.
