Weather warning: Windy and warm on Wednesday with a storm developing in the afternoon

ROCHESTER, NY – Skies are clear for Wednesday morning as the overnight thunderstorm has moved out of the region. Some sunshine and warm weather is on the way again with temperatures reaching the low 70s.

Winds will become stronger Wednesday morning into the afternoon, with some gusts of 30 to 40 mph in the afternoon. While most of the day will be dry, keep an eye on the skies in the mid to late afternoon as a few storms are possible near and north of the highway.

Thursday looks drier overall, with mostly cloudy skies and showers sticking around until later in the day and night. It’s getting cooler with temperatures around 60°C.
