Teenagers injured in attack in Queens Park in Flushing – NBC New York

An unknown man brutally attacked two 13-year-olds in a park in Queens this afternoon. He pulled out a knife and dragged the two into the woods, where he sexually abused the girl, authorities report.

According to police, the 13-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy were in Kissena Park near the corner of Colden Street and Kalmia Avenue at around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, shortly after school let out, when a man approached them.

He showed a knife and motioned them both into the woods, then took their cell phones. After sexually assaulting the girl, he ran away, police said.

The victims were taken to hospital in stable condition.

Investigators currently have no footage of their suspect and are conducting video surveillance of the area to get a picture of him. He is described as about 5’5″ tall and in his 20s with curly hair. He appeared to be wearing braces and had a tattoo of a wild boar or bull with red eyes on his chest, police said.
