Pedestrian hit and killed on Highway 87 in San Jose – NBC Bay Area

According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was killed early Friday morning when he was struck by a car on Highway 87 in San Jose.

Patrol officers learned around 2:50 a.m. that a pedestrian was lying on the highway near the northbound Taylor Street exit ramp. The victim was struck by a vehicle, the CHP confirmed.

Due to the fatal accident, the northbound lanes of the highway to Taylor Street were closed for the investigation.
