HFD rescuer treated for exhaustion after house fire in Belgrade

HOUSTON (KIAH) – A firefighter was treated for heat exhaustion following a house fire at Belgrade and Landmark. The Houston Fire Department (HFD) arrived on scene around 11 p.m. to find a south Houston family’s home fully engulfed in flames.

According to some reports, the fire broke through the roof. HFD was able to get the family to safety and extinguish the fire. The house suffered heavy damage. The HFD Arson Division is currently investigating.
