WYTHEVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) – TO UPDATE: According to Wytheville police, Old Stage Road is open again, but they have not released any further information.

ORIGINAL STORY: According to Wytheville Police, Old Stage Road in Wytheville from Grayson Turnpike to Petunia Road has been closed to all traffic since 7 p.m. Thursday due to an investigation involving a train and a pedestrian.

The police are asking the public to avoid this area until further notice.
