Two injured in crash in Howell County, police said

A Willow Springs woman was involved in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Katauna D. Parker, 23, of West Plains, was driving a 1993 Ford Ranger eastbound on Highway 160 near County Road 2690, a mile east of West Plains, when she crashed into the rear of a 2019 Buick Encore, which was driven by Ashlyn N. Jones, 20. of Willow Springs, the patrol said. Jones then crashed into the rear of a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Patrick A. Pettey, 31, of Alton.

Parker and a 10-year-old female passenger were taken by ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains with minor injuries.

Everyone involved wore safety equipment. The Ranger and Cherokee had minor damage. The Encore had moderate damage.
