Two more male minors arrested

(KRON) — Two more juveniles have been arrested in connection with the investigation of a man found dead in a parked car in Sunnyvale in April. He suffered a gunshot wound and was dead. Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers responded to the first incident just after midnight on April 30.

When officers arrived at the scene in the 100 block of S. Bernardo Avenue, they found a man with gunshot wounds in his vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.


The next day, May 1, Sunnyvale DPS officers arrested a male juvenile in connection with the incident.

This week, Sunnyvale DPS announced that two more juveniles were arrested. On Tuesday, a male juvenile was arrested by DPS detectives and SWAT team members. He was arrested without incident and is currently being held at the Santa Clara County Juvenile Detention Center.

On Thursday, a third male juvenile was arrested by DPS officers. He was taken into custody at the Santa Clara County Juvenile Detention Center, where he was already in custody for another offense, police said.

The incident is still under investigation, police officials said.
