Letter: Recent accident highlights danger of Selah crossing | Opinion

To the Editor: In light of the recent horrific accident involving a truck and a pedestrian in Selah, perhaps authorities should consider this intersection a safety hazard.

And they should, because the south/east side is very congested. Everyone says how hard it is to see oncoming traffic from the south when you’re at the traffic lights from the east.

When turning right heading north, you must enter the crosswalk to see what is coming in the inside lane.

I love trees, but at a busy intersection? Not a good or smart idea in my opinion.
