Arrests

Benton County

Luis Flores, 21, of 580 E. Randall Wobbe Lane in Springdale, was arrested Thursday in connection with aggravated battery on a family or household member and aggravated battery. Flores was being held in the Benton County Jail on Thursday and no bail was set.

Bentonville

Daniel Newton, 32, of 1220 Sunset Drive in Benton, was arrested Thursday on a charge of sexual assault. Newton was being held in the Benton County Jail on Thursday and no bail was set.

Lowell

Juan Medina, 29, of 208 Zion Church St. in Lowell, was arrested Wednesday in connection with five counts of rape, two counts of internet stalking of a child, two counts of sexual abuse of a child, four counts of sexual extortion and three counts of internet child pornography. Medina was being held in the Benton County Jail on Thursday, with no bail set.

Washington County

Arthur Kaiser, 36, of 21407 Fern Road in Elkins, was arrested Wednesday on a charge of second-degree domestic violence. Kaiser was being held Thursday at the Washington County Detention Center, where he posted a $50,000 bond.
