It’s always funny when something unpleasant happens to a controversial pop act, but rarely is it so funnyChris Brown, also known as Chris Breezy, finally lived up to his nickname by hanging in the air at his concert in Newark last night, June 12, according to The Hollywood Reporter. While singing “Under the Influence,” his cables malfunctioned mid-song, forcing him to sing the number “Goofy Goober” style. A visibly uncomfortable Brown gestured for the crew to pull him down. Eventually, they brought out a ladder to free him from his rightful and predicted place: dangling in a New Jersey arena, anxiously waiting for someone to pull him down while the breeze from the Prudential Center blew in his face. Brown reportedly said he was upset about the technical difficulties at the end of the two-hour concert, but took the situation in stride. We’re sure Usher had a chuckle at the news, too.
