PTI Secretariat will not be given any powers, says IESCO spokesman

ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Thursday clarified that the company did not disconnect the power supply to the Secretariat of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in G 8. The power supply to the building was disconnected due to a possible internal wiring fault, IESCO spokesperson said. He said ensuring power supply to the meter was the responsibility of IESCO field office. According to SDO Sector G7, no complaint of power disruption was registered, he further said.
