Strong police presence in Scottsdale after critical incident

According to officials, the incident occurred near Pima and Bell streets.

SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – There is a heavy police presence near the intersection of Pima Road and Bell Road in Scottsdale following a “critical incident” that left an officer injured Thursday night.

A large part of the road in the investigation area was cordoned off with barrier tape.

Information on the nature of the officer’s injuries was not immediately released.
