Three arrested for stealing nearly $5,000 worth of baby formula from Columbia County stores

(WJBF) – Three people are in jail for allegedly stealing dozens of cans of baby formula from several stores in Columbia County.

A NewsChannel 6 crew was at the Kroger on Jimmie Dyess Parkway when the suspects were stopped and arrested.

Investigators believe the suspects stole baby formula valued at around $5,000. However, as the investigation progresses, the amount could be even higher.

The suspects were identified as Jose Salvador Solis-Hernandez, Dulce Maria Tovar-Sanchez and Angel Jesus Preza-Gonzales.

They are currently in the Columbia County Jail.
