The Buffalo Bills finish their minicamp and prepare for training camp

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) – Buffalo Bills minicamp is officially in the books, and the next time players can make their case is in about six weeks, when training camp begins at the University St. John Fisher.

These next few weeks will be essential for certain players who have not yet consolidated their place in the team. Many eyes are on Kaiir Elam, the 2022 first-round pick who hasn’t been able to stay on the field consistently.

“I am a firm believer that what you put in is what you get out,” Kaiir Elam said. “It might not happen when you want it to or when you think it should. But it will always work, it will always show.”

Elam has something to prove this season and seems optimistic heading into training camp.

The way Elam has turned heads as the team prepares for some rest time before training camp has a lot to do with his confidence boost.

Veteran tight end Dawson Knox is a player impervious to outside pressure.

“The funny thing is we have 17 opportunities to show who we are,” tight end Dawson Knox said. “For now, we’re just focusing on us and the playbook and creating that identity, and now we’ll be able to present one play at a time.”
