Murder investigation underway in South Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC – Detectives are conducting a homicide investigation after a person died in south Charlotte.

At around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, police responded to an EMS call on Farmhurst Drive near Nations Ford Road, who said they were called to the area for a cardiac arrest.

Officers said they found a victim with unknown injuries. A paramedic pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The victim’s name has not yet been released. The cause of death has not yet been determined.
