Medical examiner is asking for help identifying a man found dead in the Beaverton Creek area

BEAVERTON, Ore. (KPTV) – The Washington County Medical Examiner’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man found dead in Beaverton last month.

The unidentified man was found dead on the morning of April 20 near the Elmonica MAX Station at 1200 Southwest 170th Avenue. The man’s cause of death is not yet known.

The man is described as white, between 45 and 64 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 179 pounds, with blue eyes and dark brown hair that is balding on top. He was found wearing a green smock with “PHSC” written on the pant leg and back of the shirt, a gray Columbia full-zip fleece jacket, a black puffer vest, size 36/30 Wrangler bootcut blue jeans, and Keen Shoes with yellow orthopedic inserts.

The Multnomah County Health Department announced a new public campaign Tuesday aimed at educating young Portlanders about the dangers of fentanyl.

The coroner says the man has multiple scars, including a craniotomy scar on his head, scars on his left forearm, a scar on his upper left shoulder, a scar near his right elbow, a scar on his right hand and an orthopedic repair on the right lower leg. He is missing teeth due to dentures.

Anyone who may know who the man is should contact the Washington County Medical Examiner at 503-846-3575.
