Canton man arrested Wednesday for aggressive driving in Green

A 30-year-old Canton man was arrested Wednesday morning after he was allegedly involved in a driving aggression incident in Green, according to a news release from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

At approximately 10:15 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office was notified of a road rage incident that occurred in the southbound lanes of I-77 in Green. The victim called 911 and said the suspect repeatedly cut her off and brandished a handgun.

The Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, was able to locate the suspect in Stark County and stop the vehicle. The handgun was found and confiscated.

The suspect was taken to the Summit County Jail after being charged with aggravated menacing and reckless conduct.
