EASTON, Pa. – A Monroe County man will spend decades in prison for sexually assaulting children in Northampton County.

Ronald Raisner Jr., 54, of Stroudsburg, was sentenced Tuesday to 22 years and 4 months to 75 years in prison. He will then face 12 years of probation, the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office said.

He was also determined to be a sexually violent offender and was required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

Five victims testified against Raisner, the prosecutor said.

He pleaded guilty in February to involuntary sexual intercourse, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, indecent exposure, two counts of endangering the welfare of children and corruption of minors, officials said.

He has been in the Northampton County Jail since his arraignment in March 2023, according to court records. The crimes occurred in West Easton and State Police from the Belfast Barracks investigated the case.
