TRUCK DRIVER SERIOUSLY INJURED AFTER ACCIDENT WEST OF WARRENSBURG | KMMO

A truck driver suffered serious injuries when he lost control of his vehicle west of Warrensburg Wednesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 36-year-old Gregory Myers of Lenexa, Kansas, was driving east on Route 50 when a tire on his semi-truck blew just before 8 a.m., causing it to run off the road about a half-mile east of Route 58. Myers’ truck struck a concrete ditch and began to roll over. He was airlifted to a hospital near Kansas City for treatment of his serious injuries.
