2 dead, 1 critical after crash in northwest suburbs

LAKE COUNTY, Ill. – Two people died Wednesday morning and another is in critical condition after a crash in Wauconda Parish.

The accident occurred around 8 a.m. near Fairfield and Chardon. Two people died and one person was taken to hospital in critical condition.

According to police, one of the vehicles involved was a dump truck.
