Girl in Lahore raped by doctor she met on a marriage app

Nawab Town police filed a complaint against the suspect and launched an investigation into the incident.

LAHORE: (UrduPoint/UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 12 June 2024) A girl was allegedly raped by a doctor in Lahore who met her through a marriage app, police said on Thursday.

The victim filed a complaint at the Nawab Town police station, stating that she met the doctor through a marriage app.

She said she met the doctor in the cafe of a local hospital. The doctor forced her, took her to a location and sexually abused her there, she said.

The police took up the case and began their investigation.

The suspect is still at large.

However, the victim is being treated at a local hospital in Lahore, police said.
