Man says Houston park ranger forced him to strip and demanded sex and money in Cullen Park

HOUSTON – A second man has made shocking allegations against a Houston Urban Park Ranger.

The man claims Joey Lamar Ellis, 33, asked him to give him sex or money to avoid being arrested in Cullen Park.

The man, who asked not to be identified, says Cullen Park was once a place where he could go running and working out, but now it reminds him of not one, but two sets of traumatic events that ‘he still has trouble forgetting. believe.

“It feels traumatic, like my life will never be the same again,” he said.

Its story begins at the beginning of April. He said he was about to leave the park after a practice session, when Ellis did the unthinkable.

“He ended up stopping me. I was standing by my car and he said, ‘You’re trespassing, your car is going to be towed, you’re not supposed to be here,’ the man said.

He says Ellis made him pull down his pants, demanded his license and threatened to take him to jail unless he did one of two things.

“He told me you could suck it, you know what, or you could pay me,” he said.

The man said he reluctantly paid Ellis some $260.

“It has like a holster, a gun holster,” the man said.

Out of fear, the man says he did not report the first incident. When he returned to the park a few weeks later, he said he ran into Ellis again.

“He said to me, ‘You already know the routine.’ I told you not to come here, you know a thing or two. Basically what I told you the first time,” he said.
