POLICE SAY THE FOUR-WEEK-OLD CHILD DIED ON THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF CITY, RIGHT NEAR 70TH AND MILL 12 NEWS HANNAH HILYARD LEADS US AT 4:00. AND, HANNAH, YOU RECEIVED A REPORT FROM THE HEALTH INSPECTOR LATE TODAY. WHAT DO YOU LEARN FROM THAT REPORT? CORRECT. DEREK AND DEANNA, THE HEALTH INSPECTOR’S REPORT CLAIMS THAT THE BOY’S GRANDMOTHER WAS THE ONE WHO FOUND HIM DEAD IN A BEDROOM IN THIS APARTMENT BUILDING AT 445 ON MONDAY AFTER NOON. THE SAME REPORT DESCRIBES THAT THE BOY’S MOTHER WAS THE LAST ONE TO SEEN HIM ALIVE. CURRENTLY THE HEALTH INSPECTOR’S OFFICE SAYS THEY ARE NOT INVESTIGATING THE BABY’S DEATH AS A MURDER, BUT THE POLICE CONSIDER IT SUSPICIOUS AND THE INVESTIGATION REPORTS SHOW THAT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A MATTER OF ABUSE. POLICE HAVE ARRESTED THREE PEOPLE, A 33-YEAR-OLD WOMAN, A 50-YEAR-OLD WOMAN, AND A 38-YEAR-OLD MAN. POLICE SAY THEY HAVE TAKEN ALL THREE INTO CUSTODY AND SENDING CHARGES TO MILWAUKEE COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S HEALTH INSPECTORS. REPEAT: FIRST RESPONDERS MADE THIS DISCOVERY LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON. Milwaukee police have arrested three people in connection with the death of a 1-month-old boy named Justin Kluge, who was found dead in his home near 71st Street and Mill Road on Monday afternoon. The coroner’s report said the boy’s grandmother found him in a bedroom around 4:45 p.m. The same report said the boy’s mother was the last person to see him alive. The Milwaukee County coroner’s office said the death is not being investigated as a homicide, but police consider his death suspicious. The Wisconsin Division of Safety and Permanence was also notified of the death and is investigating possible abuse. A 33-year-old woman, a 50-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man were arrested. Their connection to the baby has not been disclosed. Charges are being reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
