More arrests in Ohio County missing baby investigation

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WBKO) – Kentucky Police have made additional arrests in the investigation into missing 8-month-old Miya Rudd.

Today, police executed a search warrant for Miya’s grandparents and her mother Tesla Tucker’s parents’ home in the 1300 block of Leitchfield Road in Owensboro.

Although the police could not find the baby, they confiscated electronic devices and arrested both grandparents.

Taletha D. Tucker, 50, of Owensboro was arrested and charged with Escape from Another State – Warrant (Indiana).

David Tucker, 53, of Owensboro was arrested on a Daviess County warrant for failure to pay a balance.

Both were transported and housed at the Daviess County Detention Center in Owensboro.

Tesla Tucker’s three children, who were living with their grandparents, were relocated by the Cabinet of Community-Based Services.

The investigation is being continued by the Kentucky State Police.
