Hofbrauhaus Buffalo changes its menu and appoints a new general manager

Buffalo, New York (WBEN) – Hofbrauhaus Buffalo is undergoing an overhaul with a new general manager, new chef and new menu, according to Buffalo Business First. The new dinner menu launched Monday with new chicken options, a new burger and 3 additional salads.

Doc Sullivan Restaurant and Forty Thieves Kitchen & Bar will be closed indefinitely following the death of co-owner Tommy Cowan. Both restaurants posted on Instagram Tuesday, thanking their customers for their continued support as they mourn the loss of Cowan.

NOCO has named Michael Casciano as the company’s new president. He will oversee all aspects of the business in this new position. Casciano joined NOCO in 2022 as COO. He is the first president of a company unrelated to the Newman family, which founded the company in 1933.

National Fuel will award $207,000 to 35 area nonprofits. Groups receiving grants include Buffalo & Erie County Naval and Military Park, Haven House and Pride Center of WNY.
