Traffic accident in Oakhurst with road closure |

Oak wood-The California Highway Patrol and the Madera County Sheriff’s Office report a traffic accident in the area of Highway 41 and Road 222. It is reportedly a head-on collision between two vehicles. Emergency services and tow trucks are on the way.

According to the Madera County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page and app, a section of SR-41 north of Oakhurst is closed in both directions following a fatal crash. The route is closed near River Falls Road. A detour has been put in place. Please try to avoid the area if possible. ETO is unknown.
