One person injured after alleged road rage in Cedar City

CEDAR CITY, Utah (ABC4) — One person was injured following an alleged road rage incident in Cedar City Wednesday afternoon, and Cedar City Police officials are warning citizens of an “incident in progress.”

According to Social media postThe incident occurred at the corner of Fiddlers Canyon Drive and Main Street. Police said the suspect shot the victim after pulling out a firearm.

Officers arrested the suspect following the incident and the victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

“There is no immediate threat to the public,” police said. However, at around 4:30 p.m., police still classified the incident as active.

The police have not provided any information about the cause of the suspected traffic death, nor is there any information about the victim’s condition.
