Homicide investigation underway in East New Orleans: NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating a homicide in East New Orleans on Wednesday, June 12.

The NOPD reported that a man was pronounced dead in the 10800 block of Chef Menteur Highway around 4:21 p.m.

Officials said they received the call around 3:58 p.m.

The NOPD did not release any further information.
