Man killed in shooting in Henderson

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is dead after a shooting near a shopping center in Henderson, police said.

The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Marks Street in Henderson. When emergency responders arrived, they found a man who had been shot and was bleeding. Officers attempted to help him, but he died at the scene.

As of 2:30 p.m., police said no additional injuries had been reported in the shooting.

The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing, police said.
