Man sentenced to 30 years in prison for sexually abusing two minors

EDINBURG, Texas (ValleyCentral) — An Edinburg man has been convicted of sexually abusing two minors.

Enoe Reyes, 42, was found guilty of two counts of indecent sexual conduct with a child, according to District Attorney Toribio Palacios.

On December 20, 2023, Hidalgo County officials received a call that Reyes was involved in the sexual abuse of a child.

During the investigation, authorities discovered that Reyes had sexually abused a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old.

“Both children were interviewed by a forensic interviewer and subjected to a sexual assault examination, with the children repeatedly screaming about being sexually abused by Reyes,” the press release said.

On Monday, 206th District Court Judge Rose G. Reyna sentenced Reyes to 30 years in prison.
